Game crashes when i launch the game something about mino olympics

Ok, I have looked through the other reviews and they all are reporting this glitch where the dark mini tab pops up and wont let you do anything else other than press the "x" in the top right corner, then the game crashes and the game becomes unplayable, I love this game and the new update was making me play the game almost all day, but now it is unplayable, please fix this update bug, had I not looked at some of the other reviews here I was about to uninstall the game and start over so I could keep playing, please fix, I know everyone needs this problem solved :(

This is my favorite game on the App Store but the blackened island notification that tells you how much dark coins you have gotten is starting to become a problem. Because when try to close the notification the game crashes
